PARTNERS HAIR DESIGN EXCHANGE, RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

PLEASE NOTE ALL EXCHANGES, REFUNDS AND RETURNS ARE SUBJECT TO THE PROVISION OF AN ORIGINAL CASH RECEIPT

1. ELECTRICAL GOODS

  1. All electrical goods may be returned for a full refund or exchange within 7 days of purchase provided that they are in their original packaging in an unused condition. Partners Hair Design will verify the serial number to ensure that the appliance sold matches the product returned. Packaging that is damaged will not be accepted.
  2. Faulty goods returned within the warranty period of the specified item are subject to the supplier warranty. Hairdryers will be sent for repair. All flat irons will be repaired, as per the supplier warranty, and collection and delivery of irons will be handled by the relevant supplier. Clients must contact the supplier directly and follow their procedure regarding collection and delivery. No refunds or exchanges of faulty irons will be done by Partners Hair Design after 7 days.
  3. No Appliance, regardless of purchase date, will be accepted if the original plug or cable has been tampered with.
  4. Should the supplier find that the defect is as a result of misuse or mishandling, the cost of repairs will be for the clients account, subject to the suppliers terms and conditions.
  5. All refunds are subject to the procedures for refunds detailed in point 4.

2. PERSONAL CARE - TAKE HOME PRODUCTS

ALL RECOMMENDATIONS ON TAKE HOME PRODUCTS RELY ON THE SUPPLY OF ACCURATE INFORMATION BY THE CLIENT. PLEASE ENSURE THAT WHEN DISCUSSING YOUR NEEDS THAT THE CORRECT INFORMATION IS PROVIDED TO THE PERSON ASSISTING YOU.

  1. All personal care products may be returned for a full refund or exchange within 7 days of the purchase date provided that they are in their original packaging (including cellophane wrap, tamper proof seals and lids), are in an unused condition and are re-saleable. No price stickers or labels may be removed
  2. Any personal care product which does not meet the clients expectation for any reason whatsoever may be returned to the supplier. A toll-free number will be provided and the supplier will assist the client with any product which is unsatisfactory. Partners Hair Design does not accept liability for any product which does not meet the client expectation, regardless of purchase date, as the suppliers have undertaken to assist with the accurate replacement of any product which does not meet client expectation.
  3. Items purchased on sale or discount may not be returned
  4. For reasons of hygiene, brushes may not be refunded or exchanged, unless they are defective.
  5. All refunds are subject to the procedure for refunds detailed in point 4.

3. IN-SALON HAIR SERVICES

EVERY SERVICE MUST BE PAID FOR, IN FULL, BEFORE PARTNERS HAIR DESIGN WILL ACCEPT ANY LIABILITY FOR THE CORRECTION OR TREATMENT OF AN UNSATISFACTORY SERVICE. THERE ARE NO CASH REFUNDS ON HAIR SERVICES

PARTNERS HAIR DESIGN STRONGLY RECOMMENDS THE USE OF PROFFESIONAL IN SALON TREATMENTS AND TAKE HOME CARE PRODUCTS TO OPTIMISE YOUR CHEMICAL SERVICE. THE OUTCOME OF THE SERVICE RELYS ON THE SUPPLY OF ACCURATE INFORMATION BY THE CLIENT.

  1. Any chemical service must be done after a full consultation, should the client choose to waive the consultation or the recommendation of the stylist regarding the selected service, Partners Hair Design will not accept any liability for an undesired outcome.
  2. Partners Hair Design will endeavour to ensure that any chemical service achieves the desired outcome, however there are certain variables which are outside of our control that may result in an unsatisfactory outcome. Partners Hair Design will endeavour to ensure that the desired outcome is reached (to the nearest degree).
  3. Fading: All permanent and semi-permanent colour will fade to a certain degree. There are many variables that will influence the rate and degree to which hair fades. Partners Hair Design will assess all claims of fading within 7 days of the service. Clients must avail themselves for the assessment within 48 hours of the complaint being logged.
  4. Complete Colour Change: There is a degree of risk involved when undergoing a complete colour change, Partners Hair Design will advise on the best course of action to achieve optimum results. Should the client choose to follow a course contrary to that which is recommended, at any other Partners Hair Design store or other Professional Hairdressing Salon, Partner Hair Design will not accept liability for an unsatisfactory outcome.
  5. Hi-Lights: Prolonged hi-lighting services will cause damage. Partners will advise on the best course of action to avoid undue damage, should the client however choose to proceed with additional hi-lighting services contrary to that which was advised, Partners Hair Design will not accept any liability for an unsatisfactory result.
  6. Any chemical service will result in a degree of damage to the hair, Partners Hair Design strongly recommends the use of professional in salon treatments and take home products to assist with the management of damage. For claims of undue damage as a result of a chemical service, Partners Hair Design will assess all claims made within 7 days of the service. Factors such as the hair condition prior to the service and type of service will be taken into account. The treatment and management of undue damage is at the discretion of Partners Hair Design

4. PROCEDURE FOR REFUNDS

Due to the high incidents of fraud and fraudulent transaction NO CASH REFUNDS will be done from any store. There will be a 10% handling fee on all transactions.

  1. All refunds will be managed from our head office under the following conditions:
  2. Cash Sales - the CASH RECEIPT must be sent, along with banking details via fax or email. On delivery of products to the store a refund will be made to the relevant account via eft transfer.
  3. Card Sales - the CASH RECEIPT along with a bank proof of payment and relevant banking details must be sent via fax or email. Verification will be done to ascertain if the funds have entered our account. After successful verification and deliver of goods to the relevant store, a refund will be done via eft to the relevant account.
